Stodal is a homeopathic medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of cough.
Release form and composition
Stodal is produced in the form of a homeopathic syrup: a clear liquid with a fragrant aroma of Tolu syrup, light yellow with a brownish tinge (200 ml each in amber glass bottles of type III, 1 bottle in a cardboard box).
Active substances in the composition of 10 g syrup (0.095 g each):

- Drosera (Drosera) MT;
- Pulsatilla C6;

- antimonium tartaricum (Antimonium tartaricum) C6;

Stodal is one of the complex homeopathic remedies, which include mainly herbal ingredients.
Thanks to the substances included in its composition, the remedy is effective for various types of cough. It has a bronchodilator, expectorant effect, helps to accelerate the transition of dry cough to wet.
The main properties of the components:
- bryonia: has an effect on thinning sputum and reducing its viscosity, which leads to an improvement in the fluidity of bronchopulmonary secretions and, as a result, helps to cleanse the airways;
- spongia toast, ipeka: contain alkaloids that reduce the phenomena of bronchospasm and have a papaverine-like effect;
- rumex crispus, pulsatilla: used to relieve dry spastic cough, as a result of the use of these components, the urge to cough decreases, in terms of effectiveness they are similar to ethylmorphine hydrochloride (codetilin).
