Venous plexus
The venous plexus [plexus venosus - PNA (Parisian Anatomical Nomenclature), BNA (Basel Anatomical Nomenclature), JNA (Jena Anatomical Nomenclature)] is a complex of anastomosing veins, of various sizes.
Types of venous plexuses:
- Areolar (areolaris);
- Vaginal (vaginalis);
- Back pharynx (pharyngis posterior);
- Front pharynx (pharyngis anterior);
- Pharyngeal (pharyngeus);
- Pharyngoesophageal ventral (pharyngoesophagicus ventralis);
- Pharyngoesophageal dorsal (pharyngoesophagicus dorsalis);
- Diaphragmatic (diaphragmaticus);
- Duodenal caval (duodenocavalis);
- Hyoid nerve canal (canalis hypoglossi);
- Sacral (sacralis);
- Pterygoid (pterygoideus);
- Pampiniformis;
- Uterovaginal (uterovaginalis);
- Uterine (uterinus);
- Urogenital triangle (trigonalis);
- Bladder (vesicalis);
