HepaVit is a biologically active food supplement (BAA), a source of flavolignans.
Release form and composition
500 mg tablets (100 pcs. In a package).
Composition:
- active substance: milk thistle (in the form of fruit powder);
- additional components: granulated sugar, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide (aerosil).
Component properties
Milk thistle is considered one of the most powerful herbal hepatoprotectors and detoxifying agents because it neutralizes toxins and poisons that must be excreted by the liver from the body. It contains flavolignans and flavonoids, as well as about 400 other biologically active components.
HepaVit protects the liver from the toxic effects of medications taken, adverse environmental factors and alcohol.
Indications for use
HepaVit is recommended to be taken as a source of flavolignans.
BAA is indicated for prophylaxis in the presence of the following diseases / conditions:
- functional disorders of the gallbladder and liver (biliary dyskinesia, especially in combination with liver damage);
- chronic hepatitis;
- fatty degeneration of the liver;
- cirrhosis of the liver;
- toxic liver damage, including alcohol;
- condition after removal of the gallbladder;
- phlebeurysm.
Contraindications
A contraindication to taking a dietary supplement is the presence of hypersensitivity to its constituent components.
Recommendations for use
HepaVit is taken orally, simultaneously with meals, 2 times a day, 2 tablets.
The doctor, if indicated, may prescribe 4–5 courses per year.

Before you start taking dietary supplements, you need to consult with a specialist.
During the use of HepaVita, a short-term deterioration in well-being is possible (manifested in the form of nausea, bitterness, pain in the right hypochondrium, dizziness, skin rashes). In most cases, these disorders go away on their own without additional treatment (a decrease in the daily dose may be required).
Terms and conditions of storage
Store in a place protected from moisture and light at room temperature. Keep out of the reach of children.
The shelf life is 3 years.
