Immortelle is a medicinal plant with bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and choleretic properties.
A perennial plant with a bushy stem and bright orange flowers gets its name from the unique properties of long-term preservation when dried and creating flower arrangements.
The immortelle grows in Central Asia and practically throughout Europe. In Russia, the plant grows in the European part, the western part of Siberia and in the Caucasus mountains.
Chemical composition
The inflorescences of the plant contain flavonoids - apigenin and naringenin, sugar, phthalides, resins, essential oil, mineral salts, as well as trace elements and vitamins C and K.

Due to its beneficial properties, the immortelle has a healing effect in various diseases.
Due to the presence of resin acids in the plant, preparations based on it have an antibacterial effect.
The immortelle in the composition of choleretic drugs improves the functioning of the liver and stimulates bile secretion, increases the bilirubin content, and also effectively eliminates the imbalance of bile and stabilizes the gallbladder. Thus, the immortelle has a preventive effect against the formation of stones in the biliary tract.
The anti-inflammatory, tonic and bactericidal properties of the immortelle have long been known. Contraindications
