Hexalysis is a drug with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action, used topically in dentistry and ENT practice.

Release form and composition

Hexalysis is produced in the form of tablets for resorption: round, flat-cylindrical with a bevel, orange-yellow color (inclusions of white or orange are allowed), with a weak characteristic odor (10 pcs. In blisters, 3 blisters in a cardboard box).

The composition of 1 tablet contains active substances:

  • Biclotymol - 5 mg;
  • Enoxolone - 5 mg;
  • Lysozyme hydrochloride - 5 mg.

Auxiliary components: lemon oil - 0.2 mg; magnesium stearate - 15 mg; citric acid monohydrate - 10 mg; acacia gum - 60 mg; dye yellow "Sunset" (E110) - 0.1 mg; sucrose - up to 1200 mg.

Indications for use

Hexalysis is prescribed for local therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, larynx and pharynx caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug components:

  • Chronic and acute pharyngitis;
  • Tonsillitis;
  • Pharyngolaryngitis;
  • Glossitis;
  • Conditions after tonsillectomy.

Contraindications

  • Age up to 6 years;
  • Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Method of administration and dosage

Hexalysis should be resorbed until complete dissolution.

The drug is prescribed for 1 tablet: for adults - every 2 hours (maximum - 8 tablets per day), for children from 6 years old - every 4 hours.

Do not use Hexaliz for more than 10 days.

Side effects

During therapy, side effects such as superinfection and allergic reactions may develop.

With prolonged use (more than 10 days), oral dysbiosis may occur with the risk of spreading fungal and bacterial infections.
