Apizartron is a combined medicinal product based on bee venom, local irritating, analgesic, analgesic and vasodilating action, for external use.

Release form and composition

Apizartron is available in the form of an ointment for external use: a uniform consistency, from white to slightly yellowish, with the smell of methyl salicylate (20 g or 50 g in aluminum tubes, one tube in a cardboard box).

Composition of 100 g of ointment:

  • active ingredients: methyl salicylate - 10 g, bee venom - 0.003 g, allyl isothiocyanate - 1 g;
  • auxiliary components: white petrolatum, sodium lauryl sulfate, emulsified cetostearyl alcohol, water.

Indications for use

  • myalgia (including those associated with overvoltage);
  • diseases of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatic lesions of soft tissues, osteoarthritis);
  • neuralgia (including sciatica and neuritis);
  • arthralgia (including rheumatic diseases of the joints);
  • pain syndrome with sprains and bruises, with soft lesions of tendons, muscles and ligaments;
  • violation of peripheral circulation;
  • warming up muscles before sports activities and during exercise.

Contraindications

  • severe liver disease;

Method of administration and dosage

Apizartron ointment is intended for external use. A column of ointment 3-5 cm long is applied to the affected area with a layer about 1 mm thick, left for 2-3 minutes until a feeling of warmth and / or redness appears, and then slowly and intensively rub the ointment into the skin. For greater effectiveness of the drug, it is recommended to keep the treated areas warm.

Apizartron ointment is used 2-3 times a day until the symptoms of the disease disappear.

After applying the drug, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
