Release form and composition

Dosage form of the drug - complex capsules: size No. 0, hard gelatinous, cylindrical shape, with hemispherical ends, with a yellow lid and a white body; contain capsule No. 3 * and amorphous powder from grayish-yellow to light brown color (12, 18, 30 and 60 pcs. in polymer cans, 1 can in a cardboard box).

Indications for use

Gepaphor is a drug used to treat the following diseases (as part of complex therapy):

  • toxic liver damage, including medicinal;
  • acute and chronic hepatitis, including medicinal (including diseases developed as a result of taking anti-tuberculosis drugs), impaired intestinal flora;
  • acute viral hepatitis;
  • cirrhosis of the liver;
  • chronic hepatitis of various etiology, including with impaired function of the biliary tract;
  • conditions after hepatitis.

Also, Gepaphor is used for prophylaxis with prolonged use of drugs, alcohol abuse, chronic intoxications (including professional).

Contraindications

  • children's age (there is no data on the safety and effectiveness of use);
  • individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Method of administration and dosage

Gepaphor should be taken orally during meals, swallowing the capsules whole and washed down with boiled water cooled to room temperature.

Recommended doses depending on indications:

  • acute viral hepatitis: 1 capsule 3 times a day for 15 days;
  • dysbiosis due to the use of drugs, toxic liver damage, liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, conditions after hepatitis: 2 capsules 3 times a day for 14-30 days;
  • preventive reception: 1-2 capsules 3 times a day for 14-30 days.

If necessary, after 1–3 months the course of treatment is repeated.
