Release form and composition
The dosage form of the drug is a paste for external use: from white to white-yellowish color (25 g in a jar or tube, in a cardboard box 1 can or tube).
Composition of 100 g of paste:
- active substance: zinc oxide - 25 g;
- auxiliary components: potato starch, petroleum jelly.

Pharmacodynamics
According to the instructions, Zinc paste has anti-inflammatory, astringent, absorbent, antiseptic and drying effects. Softens irritated skin and has a protective effect. Reduces exudation, relieves local manifestations of irritation and inflammation. The protective effect of the drug is due to a combination of zinc oxide and petroleum jelly, which form a mechanical barrier that prevents irritants from acting on the affected area.
Indications for use
Indications for Zinc paste are the following diseases and conditions:
- diaper rash;

- dermatitis;
- superficial skin damage (burns, cuts, scratches);
- herpes simplex;
