Phytorelax is a herbal sedative.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - tablets: flat-cylindrical, round, beveled, from brown to gray with lighter or darker blotches, engraving "NP" on both sides on a wood background; have a specific smell (in blisters of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 pcs., in a cardboard box 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 blisters).

Active ingredients in 1 tablet:

  • Valerian extract - 0.15 g;
  • hawthorn extract - 0.08 g.

Auxiliary components: magnesium stearate - 0.003 g; carmellose - 0.012 g; colloidal silicon dioxide - 0.000 6 g; lactose - 0.354 4 g.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

The actions of Fitorelax, due to the complex of biologically active substances included in its composition:

  • Valerian extract: has a moderate sedative and antispasmodic effect;
  • hawthorn extract: has mild cardiotonic, antispasmodic and sedative properties.

Indications for use

  • insomnia, increased nervous irritability (as a sedative);
  • astheno-neurotic conditions, cardialgia, functional disorders of cardiac activity (as part of complex treatment).

  • individual intolerance to the components contained in the preparation.

Instructions for the use of Fitorelax: method and dosage

Phytorelax tablets are taken orally, without chewing, with water (a small amount).

The daily dose is 1-2 pcs. 2-3 times a day.

In cases of insomnia, 2 pcs are taken 30-60 minutes before bedtime.

The duration of therapy is 1.5–2 months.

Side effects

During the period of therapy, allergic reactions may develop (itching, urticaria).

If the drug is used for a long time in high doses, it may develop drowsiness, depression, lethargy, decreased performance.

Overdose
