Is jogging good for weight loss?
Many people in their quest to lose weight use various methods - go on a diet, drink cleansing teas, buy a subscription to a fitness center. However, we began to forget about such an affordable, simple and effective way, which, coupled with proper nutrition, will quickly get in the desired shape, like running.
Weight loss running - how useful is it?
Running, like any other physical activity, and health are inextricably linked. A short, thirty-minute run helps to normalize metabolism, has a positive effect on the state of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Fresh air, intensively passing through the lungs, saturates all cells of our body with oxygen, as a result of which all organs of our body receive a charge of health and vigor necessary for full functioning.
Combined with the restriction of carbohydrate intake in the diet, running can become a real magician in the field of weight loss. Just like any other type of physical activity, daily jogging also takes some getting used to, so don't force yourself to jump to a 4-minute run in the early morning - with shortness of breath, fatigue, and discontent from getting up early. Running for weight loss (and for health too) should be fun. Choose a slow, measured pace that is most comfortable for you. For the first few days / weeks, run about 15-20 minutes a day, adding jogging time if necessary, but in no case do not exhaust the body.
Traditionally, morning and evening runs are distinguished. Morning jogging allows you to raise muscle tone, prepare the body for the stresses that it will be subjected to during the day. But evening jogging
is a real jogging for weight loss. It burns calories accumulated during the day more intensely than the morning one - just do not gorge on at night, otherwise the whole effect of jogging will come to naught.
Change the nature of your runs from time to time - slow, for long distances, or fast, but for short distances. If your goal in this case is to correct your figure ("remove" the belly, fat from the sides and hips), after running it is useful to shake your abs, or perform exercises focused on other problem areas. And in conclusion, it should be said that running is an excellent tool not only for losing weight, but also for the general health of the body. Run with pleasure!
