Tusuprex is an antitussive drug.
Release form and composition
Tusuprex is available in the form of film-coated tablets (30 or 250 pieces per pack).
The active ingredient is oxeladine citrate, its content in 1 tablet is 10 mg or 20 mg.
Indications for use
- bronchitis;
- dry cough of various etiologies;
- laryngitis.
Contraindications
- bronchial asthma;
- bronchospastic syndrome;
- bronchitis with obstructed sputum discharge;
- bronchiectasis.
Method of administration and dosage
The tablets are taken orally.
Recommended dosage:
- adults: 20 mg 3-4 times a day;
- children aged 2-7 years: 5-10 mg 3 times a day;
- children 8-14 years old: 10 mg 3-4 times a day;
- patients 15-18 years old: 10-15 mg 4 times a day.
Side effects
Taking pills can cause undesirable effects in the form of dyspeptic disorder, drowsiness, weakness.

The interaction of Tusuprex when combined with other drugs has not been established.
