Cinarix is a dietary supplement.
Available in two dosage forms: coated tablets and oral solution. According to the instructions, 1 tablet of Cynarix contains 55 mg of artichoke extract and excipients (cellactose, calcium citrate, collidon, talc, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, sucrose, calcium carbonate, methylcellulose, glycerin, yellow sikovit, green sikovit).
Pharmacological action of Cynarix
Cinarix is recommended as a remedy designed to maintain the functional state of the biliary tract, liver and gastrointestinal tract.
According to the instructions, Cynarix stimulates the production of bile, preventing its stagnation in the biliary tract and, exerting a complex effect on the body, increases the secretion of pancreatic enzymes, enhancing the motor work of the intestines. The components included in the active substance of Cynarix (caffeylquinic acids, sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids) help to minimize the lipid content, which, in turn, reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood. Caffeylquinic acids have a hepatoprotective effect on liver cells, activating the detoxifying activity of the organ.
The half-life of artichoke components from blood serum is 11 minutes. After 1 hour after application, according to reviews to Cynarix, an increase in the production of bile acid is noted, the duration of which is about 3 hours.
Indications for use
Cynarix as a biologically active food supplement is recommended for various disorders of the functioning of the biliary tract: chronic cholecystitis, dyskinesia, as well as chronic intoxication with toxic substances and hepatitis. In addition, in reviews to Cynarix, the effectiveness of the remedy for indigestion during the regular use of heavily digestible and fatty foods is noted. Under the therapeutic influence of Cynarix, the pain in the abdominal cavity is reduced, flatulence, bloating, nausea, constipation stop, and appetite appears.
The recommended dosage of Cynarix is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, taken with meals.
The use of an oral solution of the drug is carried out by adults and children over 12 years of age, 1-2 teaspoons per day before meals. The course of taking Cynarix depends on the severity and nature of the disease and is determined exclusively by the doctor. The average duration of treatment is 2 weeks.
Contraindications of Cynarix
Contraindications to the use of Cynarix are:
• Severe violations of the liver, including liver failure;
• Empyema of the gallbladder;
• Occlusion of the biliary tract;
• Acute hepatitis;
• Hypersensitivity to the active and auxiliary components of the drug.
Given the presence of alcohol in the oral solution of Cynarix, the agent should not be used by children under 12 years of age, as well as by patients with epilepsy. Sucrose, which is part of the drug, explains the undesirability of taking Cynarix by patients with diabetes mellitus.
Side effects
According to reviews to Tsinariks, the drug is well tolerated by the body and has practically no side effects. In some cases, with prolonged use of Cynarix, diarrhea and allergic reactions may occur.
The use of Cynarix in the form of tablets during pregnancy and lactation does not have a negative effect on the development of the fetus. When taking oral solution, it should be borne in mind that it is 34% alcohol.
The drug is not a medicine. Talk to your doctor before using Cynarix.
