Kalimin 60 N is a cholinesterase inhibitor.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - tablets: oblong biconvex shape, with a dividing line on one of the sides, have a white color, roughness is allowed (100 pcs. In dark glass bottles, 1 bottle in a cardboard box).

The active ingredient is pyridostigmine bromide, in 1 tablet - 60 mg.

Auxiliary components: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvidone K25, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, glutamic acid hydrochloride, purified water.

Indications for use

  • Myasthenia gravis;
  • Myasthenic syndrome;
  • Atonic constipation;
  • Postoperative intestinal atony;
  • Disorders of bladder emptying after childbirth and gynecological operations.

In addition, the use of the drug is indicated to eliminate the action of non-depolarizing curariform drugs.


  • Simultaneous use with suxamethonium, decamethonium and other depolarizing muscle relaxants;

It is prescribed with caution in patients with: renal failure, arterial hypotension, gastric ulcer, decompensated heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, bradycardia, diabetes mellitus, parkinsonism, cholelithiasis in the absence of obstruction, urolithiasis in the absence of obstruction, hyperthyroidism, liver failure; in the period after surgery on the gastrointestinal tract.

Method of administration and dosage

The tablets are taken orally with water.

The dose of the drug and the period of treatment for myasthenia gravis is prescribed by the doctor individually, taking into account the severity of the disease and the patient's response to therapy.

Recommended daily dosage: at the first signs of illness - 30-60 mg 1-2 times a day; with the progression of the disease - 60-180 mg (1-3 tablets) 2-4 times a day. The daily dose of the drug should not exceed 720 mg or 12 tablets.

Patients with kidney disease should be prescribed lower doses of the drug, since pyridostigmine bromide is excreted unchanged from the body mainly by the kidneys. The therapeutically effective dose is selected individually, depending on the effect of the drug.

Side effects

The use of Kalimin 60 N can cause side effects:

  • From the side of the cardiovascular system: when taking high doses - a decrease in blood pressure, the development of bradycardia;
  • On the part of the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, increased salivation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, the cramping nature of which is due to high intestinal peristalsis;
  • From the nervous system: skeletal muscle spasms, muscle tremors, accommodation disorders and muscle weakness;
  • From the respiratory system: increased secretion of the bronchial glands;
  • Others: increased sweating and watery eyes, allergic reactions, frequent urge to urinate, very rarely - skin rash.

When using Kalimin 60 N, alcohol is strictly prohibited.

If you miss the next dose of the drug, you should not take a double dose at the time set for the next dose.

During the period of treatment, patients are advised to be careful when driving vehicles and mechanisms, engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require concentration of attention and high speed of psychomotor reactions.

Drug interactions

The action of atropine weakens the m-cholinomimetic effect of the drug (hypersecretion and bradycardia), with the exception of the effect of pyridostigmine bromide on skeletal muscle.

The simultaneous use of antiepileptic and antiparkinsonian drugs, ganglion blockers, m-anticholinergics, quinidine, procainamide, tricyclic antidepressants, local anesthetics reduces the severity of the action of Kalimin 60 N.

The drug enhances the effect of morphine and its derivatives, depolarizing muscle relaxants, barbiturates.

Pyridostigmine bromide is incompatible with ethanol.
