Parodontosid is a series of combined products based on herbal ingredients, designed for the prevention of gum and oral cavity diseases.
Release form and composition
- solution for topical application: pale yellow or colorless transparent liquid with a specific spicy odor (15, 25 or 50 ml in a dark glass dropper bottle, 25 or 50 ml in a dark glass bottle; in a cardboard box 1 bottle or 1 bottle -dropper);
- gel (15 g in a tube, 1 tube in a cardboard box);
- spray (25 ml in a bottle with a spray nozzle, 1 bottle in a cardboard box);
- rinse aid (250 ml in a bottle with a measuring cap);
- toothpaste (50 or 100 ml in a tube, in a cardboard box 1 tube).
100 g of solution for local application contains the following active ingredients:
- sodium fluoride - 13 mg;
- eugenol - 250 mg;
- clove oil - 250 mg;
- peppermint oil - 500 mg;
- clary sage oil - 500 mg;
- phenyl salicylate - 500 mg;
- thymol - 360 mg.
Additional components: 96% rectified ethyl alcohol, PEG-1500, purified water.
Gel composition:
- active ingredients: essential oil of clary sage, oregano, peppermint, cloves; thymol, phenyl salicylate, allantoin;
- additional components: castor oil, glycerin, alcohol, citric acid, sodium salt of methylparaben, hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-40, purified water.
Spray composition: essential oil of clary sage, peppermint, oregano, cloves; sodium fluoride, thymol, phenyl salicylate, additional components.
The composition of the rinse: essential oil of clary sage, peppermint, cloves; thymol, phenyl salicylate, xylitol, eugenol, additional components.
The composition of the toothpaste: extracts of sage and meadow mint, phenyl salicylate, allantoin, eugenol, sodium fluoride, thymol, auxiliary components. Mass fraction of fluorides - 1000 ppm F.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
- solution for local use: has an antiseptic, analgesic, local anti-inflammatory effect; ensures the preservation of a pleasant mint flavor in the mouth;
- spray: counteracts infection and inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa, promotes healing of their injured areas, ensures uniform irrigation of the oral cavity;
- gel: helps to accelerate the regeneration of areas of damaged oral mucosa and gum tissue (including when wearing braces and after surgery), easily and evenly applied to problem areas;
- rinse: quickly relieves the existing symptoms of inflammation and infection of the gums and oral mucosa; does not allow the formation of plaque, eliminates the causes of bad breath, does not require dilution;
- toothpaste: protects against infection of the gums, protects teeth from caries, strengthens enamel, prevents the formation of plaque.
The active components of all forms of the release of Parodontocide do not have a negative effect on the natural microflora of the oral cavity, reduce inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa, reduce bleeding of the gums, inhibit the growth of pathogens in the oral cavity, do not stain tooth enamel and fillings with prolonged use.
Indications for use
Means from the Periodontoside series for the care of the oral cavity are recommended to be used for its deodorization, also in the following conditions / diseases:
- stomatitis (for the solution - chronic recurrent and acute);
- periodontitis;
- inflammation of the oral mucosa;
- gingivitis (bleeding, soreness, and inflammation of the gums);
- purulent-inflammatory processes in the oral cavity (for solution);
- sore gums when wearing dentures and braces;
- traumatic damage to the gums, including those caused by surgical interventions (tooth extraction, tartar removal and others) in order to improve the regeneration process (for solution, spray and gel);
- sensitivity of the teeth (for the spray);
- caries, prevention (for paste).
Contraindications
- pregnancy and lactation period (for solution);
- hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of periodontal disease.
Instructions for the use of Parodontosid: method and dosage
All drugs in the series are used topically. Funds should be used in periodic courses lasting 4 weeks, and then take a break for 3-4 weeks. To achieve the best therapeutic effect, it is recommended to use all forms of Parodontocide in a complex manner.
Solution
Periodontal solution is used in the form of rinsing every day 2 times a day (morning and evening) after brushing your teeth, 15–20 drops each, diluted in glass of warm water. Rinse your mouth for 1-3 minutes. During the procedure, the interdental spaces should be treated especially carefully. Do not allow the solution to be swallowed.
After rinsing, you can apply a few undiluted drops of the product to a gauze or cotton swab for subsequent massage of the gums, which should be performed in the direction from the gums to the top of the teeth.
Gel
Periodontal gel is intended for local application to the problematic area of the gums. Before carrying out the procedure, you should thoroughly wash your hands and then, squeezing out a strip of gel 1 cm long, apply it with a cotton swab or finger on the inflamed area of the gum, or gently massaging it, spread it evenly over its entire surface.
When carrying out applications, the drug must be applied to a gauze strip and then applied to the gum for 10-15 minutes. A slight burning sensation may be felt during the procedure. After applying the product, it is not recommended to eat, drink or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes.
The gel should be used 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days.
Spray
Spray Parodontosid is recommended to use after brushing teeth in the morning and evening, as well as after meals during the day. To irrigate the mucous membrane of the mouth and gums, hold the bottle in an upright position, direct the spray into the mouth and press the dispenser 1-2 times.
The tool is convenient to use, you can carry it with you and use it throughout the day after a meal.
Rinse aid
For rinsing, the drug should be measured with a cap to the 10 ml mark. The rinse aid can be used undiluted or, if desired, diluted with an equal amount of water. Rinsing should be done after brushing teeth or eating 2-4 times a day, for at least 1 minute. After the procedure, you should not drink, eat or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes.
Mouthwash Periodontal disease should not be swallowed.
Toothpaste
It is recommended to use Parodontosid paste at least 2 times a day and brush your teeth for at least 2-3 minutes.
Side effects
Allergic reactions may occur against the background of the use of Parodontosid, in rare cases - contact eczema.
Overdose
Overdose cases have not been recorded.

The drug is not allowed to be taken orally.
Individuals who are not advised to use fluoride oral care products should take into account that toothpaste and spray contain fluoride.
Spray and solution Parodontosid contains alcohol.
The rinse aid does not contain chlorhexidine, alcohol or triclosan.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Solution for topical application is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
