Fasting treatment

Basic principles of fasting treatment
Basic principles of fasting treatment

Fasting treatment has been successfully practiced by all peoples since ancient times. Kabbalah (Jewish mystical philosophy and secret science) also prescribes fasting. Ancient peoples used fasting to cleanse the body. The druids and priests of the Celts went through a lengthy fast in preparation for initiation into a higher stage of the cult. The great physician of the East, Avicenna, often prescribed starvation treatment to his patients.

The meaning and principles of proper fasting

The most creative process in the human body can rightfully be considered the digestive process. After absorption, food is crushed, digested, assimilated, and its remains are removed from the body. The kidneys, intestines, skin and lungs are responsible for removing harmful substances in the body. In order for all excretory organs to work fully, the human body must have certain energy capabilities. Vital energy is essential for all processes in the body. In fasting treatment, the released energy is directed to the restoration of the most important functions of the body.

You can achieve maximum success with proper fasting up to five times a year. In women, fasting treatment for the first time should last no more than two days, the second time - about four days, the third time - six days, and the remaining two times for eight days. For men - three days for the first time, five days for the second time, seven days for the third, fourth and fifth days.

An interval of 40 to 60 days must be observed between courses of fasting treatment. It is recommended to repeat the short two-day course before undertaking a longer fast (for seven or eight days).

An immediate result in fasting treatment is expressed in an increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide, choline, histamine in the blood. All these components contribute to the narrowing of the veins. This condition generates a capillary vacuum in the body - the motor force of blood circulation. With proper fasting, the motor power of the whole human body is revived.

If after several courses of fasting treatment it was possible to achieve the desired result and there is no desire to carry out the remaining courses, then short fasting (3-4 for women and 2-4 days for men) should be repeated after two to three years. In the absence of contraindications, without medical supervision, only one-day fasting can be performed. Long-term fasting courses must be carried out under the supervision of specialists.

On the day before starting treatment with fasting, for the sake of health, you should not eat at night, drink alcohol, or smoke. It is best to eat a light vegetarian diet before fasting.

Before starving for health, you should not physically burden the body. You can drink as much water as you want during food abstinence. You can add a little lemon juice to the water. It is best to start in the afternoon or evening.

Continuous weight loss is the main symptom of fasting. The greatest weight loss occurs during the early period of fasting. The intensity of this symptom of starvation is influenced by internal and external factors (cleanliness and humidity of the air, physical activity, the state of the nervous system).

At the same time, overly thin people gain weight one to two weeks after proper fasting, and overweight people usually do not return to their previous weight.

With proper fasting, a person is completely cleansed. Fullness of strength and energy are felt. The desire to improve and lead an active lifestyle during fasting treatment arises by itself.

Cleansing by fasting

There are several ways to cleanse by fasting. This is absolute fasting, complete fasting, partial fasting. With absolute starvation, water and food are completely excluded from the diet. This type of fasting can be carried out no more than once a month (for a day) and only under the supervision of a specialist. With complete starvation, food is excluded from the diet. The water can be drunk in unlimited quantities. Complete fasting can be short (1-3 days), medium (7-10 days), and long (14 days or more). This type of food fasting should not be used for more than 42 days, otherwise you can cause irreparable harm to the body. Medium and long-term fasting can only be performed with the permission of a doctor. With partial starvation, certain foods are excluded from the diet.

You can start cleansing by fasting only after consulting a doctor. Do not forget that abstinence from food is stressful for the body. Fasting treatment should be started gradually and you should also get out of it gradually.

Some doctors recommend doing daily cleansing enemas with herbal decoctions when cleansing by fasting. When treating with fasting, experts also recommend taking a contrast shower at least twice a day. A shower is needed in order to wash off harmful substances from the skin that are released during the cleansing process.

Therapeutic food abstinence is impossible without physical activity. To saturate the body with oxygen, it is useful to walk every day (at least two kilometers a day). Also, when abstaining from food, it is recommended to visit the pool or swim in the pond.
