Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

Cyclo 3 Fort is a combined agent with vasoprotective and alpha-adrenomimetic activity aimed at increasing the tone of veins and lymphatic vessels.

The tonus of the veins is increased due to the direct stimulating effect of the drug on the postsynaptic alpha-adrenergic receptors of the smooth muscle cells of the vascular wall. In addition, norepinephrine, which is released from the storage granules in the presynaptic nerve endings, has an effect on the tone of the vascular wall. There is an improvement in the lymphatic outflow from peripheral tissues, a decrease in permeability and an increase in capillary resistance.

Pharmacokinetics

The maximum concentration (C max) in the blood plasma is achieved 2 hours after the absorption of butcher's glycosides and hesperidin (the active substance of citrus fruits).

After taking the drug, its maximum effect occurs at the end of the second hour and lasts for 6 hours.
