Uroprofit is a biologically active food supplement (BAA) with diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antispasmodic effects.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - capsules weighing 495 mg: hard gelatinous, with a white body and a red lid; content - pressed into a cylinder or loose powder of various fractional composition (possibly the presence of conglomerates) and heterogeneous color (from very light green to green, fractions - from light orange to reddish brown), with a specific odor characteristic of the raw materials used (in a blister 10 capsules, in a cardboard box 3 blisters and instructions for the use of Uroprofit).
Composition of 1 capsule:
- cranberry fruit extract (standardized for organic acids: malic, benzoic and citric) (acidity regulator - magnesium hydroxide; fillers - tricalcium phosphate, silicon dioxide; maltodextrin);
- bearberry leaf extract (standardized for 10% arbutin content) (silicon; filler - gum arabic);
- horsetail extract (standardized to 7% silicon content);
- vitamin C (ascorbic acid);
- auxiliary components: gelatin capsule - gelatin, dyes E104, E122, E171; the carrier is microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents - calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, amorphous silicon dioxide.
The content of biologically active substances in the daily dose of the supplement (2 capsules):
- vitamin C - 70 mg;
- proanthocyanidins - ≥ 7.5 mg;
- arbutin - ≥ 8 mg.

Uroprofit has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, diuretic and antispasmodic effects. The drug helps to normalize urination, reduces the risk of repeated exacerbations of chronic cystitis, prevents the formation of urinary stones, improves the functional state of the urinary tract and kidneys.
Properties of the active ingredients of the supplement:
- cranberry fruit extract has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, diuretic and tonic effect. The anti-inflammatory activity is due to the presence of ursolic acid in the berries, the antimicrobial effect is due to chlorogenic and benzoic acids. Cranberry enhances the action of uroseptic antibiotics and sulfonamides;
- bearberry leaf extract has an antimicrobial effect due to the presence of arbutin and methylarbutin in its composition, which helps to cleanse the urinary tract from bacterial flora. Due to the content of tannins, bearberry has an anti-inflammatory effect, flavonoids - increases diuresis and simultaneously removes chlorine and sodium ions from the body. The extract inhibits the reabsorption of uric acid in the renal tubules and enhances its solubility, thereby reducing the formation of stones in the urinary tract. Also bearberry is able to enhance the effect of anti-inflammatory and uroseptic drugs;
- horsetail extract removes toxins from the urinary tract, thereby protecting the epithelium during inflammation. It has a mild antispasmodic effect. The flavonoids contained in the plant have antiseptic properties;
- vitamin C has an antioxidant effect. Reduces the severity of inflammatory reactions, increases the body's resistance to infections.
