Fish oil-Teva is a hypolipidemic drug involved in the regulation of vitamin-calcium-phosphorus metabolism.
Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of capsules: soft gelatinous, filled with transparent slightly viscous yellow oil, without visible particles, with a specific fishy odor [10 pcs. in blisters / blisters (aluminum / polyvinyl chloride); in a cardboard box 7 or 10 blisters and instructions for the use of Fish Oil-Teva].

Pharmacological properties
The pharmacological action of fish oil is primarily determined by the polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3-polyunsaturated fatty acids) contained in it - eicosapentaenoic, docosahexaenoic and others. They are structural components of cell membranes, help to reduce the concentration of cholesterol in the blood, reduce the level of triglycerides by reducing the concentration of VLDL (very low density lipoproteins), inhibit platelet aggregation, and improve the rheological characteristics of blood.
Indications for use
Fish oil-Teva is recommended for the prevention of conditions caused by lipid metabolism disorders (dyslipidemia), and as part of the complex treatment of lipid metabolism disorders, including diet therapy, drugs of the statin group, antiplatelet agents, etc.
Contraindications
- chronic cholecystitis and / or pancreatitis, periods of their exacerbation;
- simultaneous use with fibrates and oral anticoagulants;

Fish oil-Teva capsules are taken orally. They should be swallowed immediately with plenty of cold or lukewarm water.
