Anidak sept is an anti-inflammatory drug for topical use in ENT practice.

Composition of the preparation per 1 ml:
- active substance: benzydamine hydrochloride - 1.5 mg;

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
The active ingredient of Anidaka sept is benzydamine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the indazole group, which also has an analgesic effect. The drug has antiseptic activity against a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms. It is able to restore microcirculation.
The properties of benzydamine are explained by its ability to stabilize cell membranes and inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins. The antibacterial and specific antimicrobial effect of the drug is due to its rapid penetration through the membranes of microorganisms and subsequent disruption of lysosomes and metabolic processes of the cell, as well as damage to cellular structures.
Anidak sept has a pronounced antifungal effect against the fungus Candida albicans. The drug causes structural modifications of the cell wall and metabolic chains of fungi, thereby arresting their reproduction. This property of benzydamine is used in inflammatory processes that occur in the oral cavity, including infectious etiology.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied topically to the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, benzydamine is well absorbed and penetrates into inflamed tissues. In the blood plasma, concentrations are created that can cause the development of systemic effects.
The drug is excreted mainly by the kidneys in the form of conjugation products or metabolites that do not have pharmacological activity.
Indications for use
Anidak sept is used to relieve pain and eliminate the inflammatory process in diseases of the ENT organs of various etiologies, such as:
- candidiasis of the oral mucosa;
- calculous inflammation of the salivary glands;

- stomatitis (including developing as a result of radiation and chemotherapy), glossitis, gingivitis, periodontal disease;
- conditions after treatment or tooth extraction;
- conditions after injury or surgery (removal of tonsils, jaw injuries, etc.).
