Alaminol is an antiseptic.

pharmachologic effect

The active ingredients of Alaminol are glyoxal and alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, which exhibit the activity of bacteria, Candida fungi, tuberculous mycobacteria, causative agents of acute respiratory infections, viral parenteral hepatitis, HIV infection, herpes, rota-, entero-, polioviruses.

Release form

Alaminol is produced in the form of a bright blue concentrate with a faint odor.

Indications for the use of Alaminol

Alaminol, according to the instructions, is used for: disinfection of products used for medical purposes, for pre-sterilization cleaning of endoscopes and accompanying instruments, for disinfection of rooms, surfaces, furniture, equipment, inventory, dressings, napkins, disposable linen before disposal, patient care items …

The Alaminol solution is also successfully used for cleaning in catering establishments, medical, communal services during seasonal epidemics.

With regular use, Alaminol prevents the growth of mold fungi in residential, non-residential premises.

Contraindications

There are no contraindications to the use of Alaminol.

Instructions for the use of Alaminol

According to the Alaminol instructions and the developed guidelines, there are different disinfection modes.

Apply for antiseptic treatment of solutions 1, 1.5, 3, 5, 8, 10%. In order to dilute a 1% solution - 1000 ml of water is needed for 10 ml of concentrate; 1.5% solution - 15 ml per 1000 ml of water; 3% solution - 30 ml of concentrate per 1000 ml of water, etc.

A solution of 1% is used to disinfect and prevent the development of infections of bacterial origin (except for tuberculosis) - they wipe sanitary equipment, surfaces, patient care items made of rubber, glass, plastic, metal to soak uncontaminated and contaminated with secretions linen and equipment used for cleaning of premises.

A solution of Alaminol 3 and 5% is used for the same purposes as a 1% solution, as well as for treating surfaces, care items, linen, equipment, inventory for tuberculosis, candidiasis, dermatophytosis, viral infections.

The use of Alaminol 5, 8, 10% is recommended for the disinfection of medical items for bacterial, viral, fungal diseases, including candidiasis and tuberculosis - by immersion in a solution. For processing glass, plastic, metal objects, tools, incl. in dentistry. Diluting Alaminol 8 and 10% is intended for the processing of rubber products.

For pre-sterilization cleaning (soaking, washing and rinsing), disinfection of medical devices (except for endoscopes and the instruments attached to them), 5.8% solutions are used.

For pre-sterilization cleaning (soaking, washing and rinsing) rigid, flexible endoscopes use a solution of 1.5%.

For pre-sterilization cleaning, disinfection of dental, surgical instruments in ultrasonic installations, an 8% solution is used.

Alaminol should be diluted with rubber gloves, avoiding eye contact. Containers in which the solution is used for disinfection by immersion are kept closed. Store concentrated and diluted disinfectant separately from other medicines.

According to the instructions of Alaminol, diluted solutions can be used repeatedly throughout the shelf life or until the appearance changes (turbidity, discoloration, etc.). The concentrate is stored in an unopened container for 12 months, and diluted solutions - no more than 10 days.

Side effects

Alaminol solution, when it gets on the skin, causes redness and irritation. In this case, the product must be immediately washed off the skin, treated with any emollient cream.

If Alaminol gets inside, you need to drink about 500 ml of water with 10 or 20 tablets of activated carbon.

If Alaminol gets into your eyes, you need to rinse them and drip sodium sulfacil 30% - 1-2 caps.
