Another thing is mechanical hair removal with folk remedies. Surprisingly, the mega-popular shugaring now refers precisely to such means. With the help of thick sugar syrup, women in the Middle East have long been getting rid of excess hair, and in North Africa, silk thread was used for this purpose. The essence of the procedure in this case is the same - pulling out hairs. And although these methods do not promise to remove hair forever, they are quite effective and completely safe, perhaps this is what allowed them to persist to this day.
