Hospital I
Hospital I is a medical and prophylactic institution designed to provide the population with inpatient, and, if there is a polyclinic department, also out-of-hospital, medical care.
Distinguish Hospital I:
- Geriatric - specialized or multidisciplinary, in which patients of senile and elderly age are treated;
- Urban - providing basic types of specialized medical care to the adult urban population living on the territory assigned to the hospital;
- City central - having the functions of a city health department in a city of regional, regional or republican subordination, in the absence of district health departments in it;
- Children's - intended for the treatment of children under 14 years old inclusive;
- Zemskaya (historical) - in pre-revolutionary Russia it was intended for the rural population, was subordinate to the zemstvo self-government;
- Infectious - intended, subject to a strict anti-epidemic regime, for the treatment of infectious patients;
- Clinical - on the basis of which the activities of clinical departments of advanced training institutes for doctors, medical higher educational institutions, as well as research institutions are carried out;
- Multidisciplinary - which has specialized departments for the treatment of patients with certain groups of diseases;
- United - which includes a hospital and a polyclinic department (polyclinic);
- Psychiatric - specializing in the treatment of the mentally ill;
- Psychoneurological - specializing in the treatment of people with chronic alcoholism;
- District central (CRH) - carrying out the functions of the health department of the rural administrative district;
- Ambulance - providing exclusively out-of-hospital and emergency inpatient care; includes an emergency and ambulance station;
- Specialized - the general name of hospitals for the treatment of patients with a certain group of diseases, which include tuberculosis, infectious, neuropsychiatric;
- Tuberculosis - a specialized hospital for the treatment of tuberculosis in patients over 18 years of age;
- Precinct - providing outpatient and inpatient care to all contingents of the population living in the rural medical area, conducting dispensary observation and a complex of preventive and sanitary and anti-epidemic works; has in its subordination all medical institutions of the rural medical district;
- Physiotherapy is a specialized hospital designed to treat patients with physiotherapy methods.
