Bifiform Baby - dietary supplement (biologically active additive) to food, is used as an additional source of probiotic microorganisms (lacto- and bifidobacteria) in a combination specially designed for use in children from the first days of life; activates the digestive system, blocks the appearance and development of chronic diseases of the digestive system, eliminates diarrhea, constipation, flatulence; helps to cleanse the intestinal mucosa, strengthen the immune system, breakdown food, absorb vitamins, release enzymes; useful for lactase deficiency in infants.

Release form and composition

Bifiform Baby is produced in the form of an oil solution complete with a powder containing probiotic cultures; adhesion of powder particles under the bottle cap is allowed, clumping does not affect the quality of the product; the finished product is a suspension with the possible inclusion of particles visible to the eye; color - from light beige to reddish (6.9 ml of an oil solution in vials sealed with a lid containing 200 mg of powder; the set includes a dosing pipette; 1 set in a cardboard box).

Active components of Bifiform Baby and their properties:

• Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12 is the most studied probiotic strain with proven beneficial effects on intestinal microflora and human health; is contained in the natural intestinal biofilm of healthy people, providing colonization resistance (i.e., intestinal resistance to colonization by pathogenic microorganisms). Bifidobacteria predominate in the intestinal microflora of breastfed babies starting from 1-2 weeks from birth. Main properties - normalization of intestinal microbiocenosis, increased immunity, participation in the absorption of fats;
• Streptococcus thermophilus TH-4 (thermophilic streptococcus) - thermophilic lactic acid coccus used as a ferment for the production of yoghurt, fermented baked milk, sour cream, some types of cheese; S. thermophilus absorbs and processes lactose, therefore it is recommended for lactase deficiency; acts as an acidifying agent, providing a bactericidal effect against pathogenic microorganisms; is able to synthesize polysaccharides and release them into the nutritional mixture, which makes it denser, contributing to the prevention and therapy of regurgitation.
