Dosing and administration of Unidox
Unidox should be taken orally with meals with plenty of water. Children over the age of 8 and weighing more than 50 kg, as well as adult patients, are prescribed 100 mg twice a day on the first day, then the drug is given 100 mg once a day. The course of treatment is 5 to 10 days. With a very severe infection, the daily dose throughout the course can be 200 mg.
For children over the age of 8 years and weighing less than 50 kg on the first day, Unidox is prescribed at the rate of 4 mg / kg per day, then the dosage is halved.
