Release form and composition
Dosage form - vaginal suppositories: torpedo-shaped, white with a yellow tint or white, marbling of the surface is permissible (5 pcs. In a blister strip, 1 or 2 packs in a cardboard box).
1 suppository contains:
- active substance: lactic acid - 0.1 g;
- auxiliary components: base for suppositories - macrogol 400 (polyethylene oxide 400), macrogol 1500 (polyethylene oxide 1500).

Femilex regulates the balance of the vaginal microflora.
Lactic acid is a natural waste product of lactic acid bacteria of the vagina, it allows maintaining the acidity of 3.5-4.5 vaginal secretions.
The clinical action of suppositories is aimed at restoring and maintaining normal levels of acidity and vaginal flora, lactic acid helps to suppress the growth of acid-sensitive, opportunistic and pathogenic flora.
In vaginal infections, lactic acid provides an acid reserve, which is necessary to correct the resulting shift in the acidity of the vaginal secretion to the alkaline side. The drug enhances the natural defenses of the vagina against genital infections.
Indications for use
- violation of microflora and the level of acidity of the vagina - monotherapy;
- bacterial vaginosis - as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications
- vulvovaginal candidiasis;
- age up to 18 years;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Femilex is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Instructions for the use of Femilex: method and dosage
Suppositories are intended for intravaginal use.
To inject the drug, you must lie on your back, slightly bend your knees and insert the suppository into the vagina.
Recommended dosage: 1 pc. Once a day, the duration of the course of treatment is 10 days.
Side effects
According to the instructions, Femilex can cause itching, the development of allergic reactions, in rare cases - a burning sensation in the vagina, which disappears only after the drug is discontinued.

Overdose symptoms have not been established.
