Release form and composition
Dosage form - tincture: clear liquid from yellowish-brown to greenish-brown color (15, 25, 30, 40 or 50 ml each in dark glass bottles / dropper bottles, 1 bottle / dropper bottle in a cardboard box).
To obtain 1 liter of tincture, use:
- Echinacea purple herb - 200 g;
- ethyl alcohol 40% (ethanol) - up to 1 liter.
Pharmacological properties
Echinacea tincture has anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating effects. Improves the function of T-helpers, stimulates the production of interleukin-1, increases the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages, induces the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, and also improves metabolic processes, especially in the kidneys and liver.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Echinacea tincture is used in the complex therapy of chronic, recurrent infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, such as rhinitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis.
Contraindications
- progressive systemic diseases (leukemia, tuberculosis, multiple sclerosis);
- pregnancy and lactation;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or other plants of the Compositae family.
With caution, the tincture should be used for diseases of the brain, craniocerebral trauma, liver disease, alcoholism.

Instructions for the use of Echinacea tincture: method and dosage
The tincture is taken orally before meals, after shaking the bottle.

Side effects
The drug can cause allergic reactions, manifested by dizziness, swelling of the face, flushing, decreased blood pressure, shortness of breath.
Overdose
