Soup diet
How is the soup diet different from other diets? The difference is that it allows you not to feel hunger, to receive all the substances necessary for the body and at the same time to eat deliciously. Of course, we are not talking about rich borscht and not about kharcho soup, but about dietary vegetable soups. The soup contains a large amount of water, which adds volume to the dish. Boiled vegetables are easier to digest than raw vegetables, but at the same time they contain a lot of fiber, so dietary vegetable soups have a beneficial effect not only on the stomach, but also on the entire gastrointestinal tract, gently helping to eliminate congestion in the intestines.
During a soup diet, vegetable soups should be preferred over meat ones, since meat broth has one property - it promotes the secretion of gastric juice, in other words, it stimulates appetite. This is why the traditional soup is offered as the first course, followed by the rest. Therefore, if you consider the soup diet as a diet for weight loss, it is better to limit yourself to vegetables and a small amount of cereals, for example, buckwheat, oatmeal or brown rice. This will make the food satiety, but will not contribute to fat deposition.
A diet based on soup cooked in meat broth has a right to exist, but not as a discharge, but as a sparing diet for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, especially for gastritis with decreased secretion of gastric juice.
In the event that you still do not want to give up meat, but the soup diet is supposed to be used as a slimming one, you can put lean meat, boiled separately, in the ready-made dietary vegetable soup.
The advantage of a soup diet is that the recipe for the soup can be tailored to your preferences. As part of a dietary soup, cabbage (white, Savoy, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kohlrabi, broccoli), carrots, zucchini, green beans, leafy greens of all kinds (from spinach to parsley), bell peppers, tomatoes, green peas are ideal. You should not include potatoes in the soup, as they are too high in calories. Another important point is that you cannot add fat
in any form to the soup, neither sour cream, nor butter. Vegetables do not need to be fried or simmered, it is enough just to cut them into pieces and put them in water.
It is better to refuse salt during a soup diet. However, if this is difficult to do, then you should not torment yourself, because it is important to eat the soup, and not pour it into the trash with disgust. In this case, you can add a little salt - enough to feel a lack of it.
If you replace lunch with diet soup for two weeks, while limiting the use of fried, fatty and sugary foods, the result will be a loss of two to five kilograms. And this without much sacrifice, since the soup is very tasty.
