The medicine is taken orally, before or during meals. Shake the bottle with the product before use, as a precipitate may form during storage. You can add this prebiotic to juice, water, tea before taking. The course is on average about 30 days, but depending on the patient's condition, it can be shortened or extended.
The dosage of the drug depends on age: children, starting from the neonatal period up to 2 years old, are recommended to take 5-10 drops / kg 2-3 times a day, from 2 to 12 years old, 20-40 drops per dose 3 times a day, children from 12 years old and adults, a single dose is 40-60 drops, it is taken 3 times a day.
With a pronounced improvement in the condition, the daily dose can be reduced by 2 times.
With increased acidity of the stomach and associated heartburn, the daily dose of Hilak forte is divided into 5-6 doses. Simultaneous reception with antacids neutralizes lactic acid in the composition of Hilak forte, therefore, the effectiveness of the drug decreases slightly. To avoid this, there should be an interval of at least 2 hours between taking the drug and antacids.
