Pharmacological properties
Properties of the components in the composition of Aktigrol:
- glucosamine sulfate: in the tissues of healthy joints, it is present in high concentrations. The main factor in the development of osteoarthritis (degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints) is the inability of the body to produce glucosamines (they have an anti-inflammatory effect, provide nutritional support to connective tissue and joints, suppress the formation of superoxide enzymes and radicals that destroy cartilage tissue);
- calcium carbonate: is an additional source of dietary calcium;
- cinquefoil: the plant contains flavonoids, tannins, ascorbic acid, essential oils, carotene, some saponins. The plant has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, immunostimulating, antirheumatic, salt-removing and wound-healing effects, is effective in various bone and joint diseases, including salt deposits in the joints of the legs and arms, dislocations and sprains, rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid / gouty arthritis, rheumatism, reactive), osteochondrosis (acute discogenic lumbodynia, muscle-fascial spasm, subacute / acute discogenic cervicalgia);
- fucus: the plant contains iodine in an assimilable form, which helps to regulate metabolism and normalize the function of the thyroid gland, as well as biologically active substances such as alginates and fucoidans, which have an immunostimulating, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. Dietary fibers of fucus contribute to the elimination of excess xenobiotics and salts from the body;
- angelica (rhizome and root): anti-inflammatory. The plant is effective for muscle, gouty and rheumatic pains, radiculitis. Biologically active substances of angelica: furocoumarins, essential oils, tannins, organic acids;
- beta-carotene (provitamin A), vitamins C and E, calcium pantothenate, folic acid and zinc: an antioxidant system that helps to reduce oxidative stress and improve bone regeneration / development; compensate for the lack of antioxidant protection.
