The Maggi diet was named after its creator. This is one of the popular citrus egg diet options. In four weeks, it allows you not only to achieve good results in terms of weight loss, but also to correct your eating habits.

The menus in this food system are strict and should be followed with the utmost precision. The diet includes the products necessary for the full functioning of the body, many of which have a fat-burning effect and contribute to the elimination of toxins, therefore it is prohibited to replace some products with others.

Breakfast in the first two weeks of the Maggi diet is always the same, but lunch and dinner change (usually a combination of meat and vegetables, fruits and eggs).

Each day of the third week is dedicated to one group of foods that you can eat without special restrictions.

The menu of the fourth week of the diet consists of recommended foods and dishes that should be distributed throughout the day at your own discretion.

There are also a number of rules that must be followed during the diet:

  • drink about 2 liters of pure, non-mineral water per day;
  • cook meat and fish using dietary methods - steam, boil, bake or fry without oil;
  • use the product in any quantity, unless otherwise indicated in the menu;
  • do not change the places of the dishes recommended for lunch and dinner;
  • if for some reason the diet had to be interrupted, then after the break, they begin from the first day.

Advantages of the Maggi diet

The Maggi diet helps to lose 10–20 kg of excess weight.

The diet is varied, contains meat dishes, vegetables, fruits, including citrus fruits, which promote active fat burning and elimination of edema.

The diet is balanced, so there is usually no deterioration in well-being.

Most of the meals are hearty and nutritious so you don't feel hungry.

The menu is scheduled for every day, so you don't have to waste time compiling it. Having a clear algorithm makes it easier to follow the diet.

Disadvantages and contraindications of the Maggi diet

There are few fermented milk products in the diet, which can negatively affect the intestines.

The diet is contraindicated for people with chronic diseases, as well as those who are allergic to eggs and citrus fruits.
