Release form and composition

Dosage form of the drug - syrup: yellowish-brown liquid with a specific odor, opalescence is possible (150 ml each in dark glass vials, sealed with plastic stoppers with a liquid divider and plastic caps with first opening control, in a cardboard box 1 bottle complete with a dosing bottle spoon made of plastic and instructions for the use of Herbion ivy syrup).

1 ml of syrup contains:

  • active substance: ivy leaves dry extract [made from Hedera helix L., Araliaceae family, folium and ethanol 30% (extractant) in a ratio of 5-7.5: 1] - 7 mg;
  • additional components: liquid sorbitol (E420), glycerol (E422), sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid monohydrate (E330), aromatic balm [propylene glycol (E1520), ethanol (E1510), citronella, coriander and lemon oils, citral from Litsea cubeba], purified water.

The syrup is intended to be taken orally, preferably after a meal.

  • children 2–5 years old: 0.5 dosing spoon (2.5 ml);
  • children 6–12 years old: 1 dosing spoon (5 ml);
  • adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1–1.5 dosing spoon (5–7.5 ml).
