Azelik is a drug for external use with antibacterial and antiproliferative effects for the treatment of hyperpigmentation and acne.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - gel for external use 15%: almost white or white, odorless or with a weak specific odor (in aluminum tubes of 5 or 30 g, in a carton pack 1 tube).

1 g of gel contains:

  • Active ingredient: azelaic acid - 150 mg;
  • Additional components: squalane, macrogol cetostearate, dimethicone, propylene glycol, methylpyrrolidone, benzoic acid, sodium hydroxide, carbomer interpolymer, disodium edetate, purified water.

Indications for use

  • Rosacea (rosacea);
  • Acne (acne vulgaris).

Contraindications

Azelik is contraindicated in the presence of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Method of administration and dosage

Azelik is applied externally.

The gel should be applied in a thin layer to clean, previously washed with water or cleansed with an appropriate mild cosmetic product and dry skin of the face, and lightly rubbed.
