For greater benefit, it is recommended to use figs with milk: 4-5 fruits are ground with a glass of milk, they drink this remedy warmed up 2-4 times a day, 100 ml each. In this form, figs are good for coughing.
Figs boiled in milk accelerate the maturation of purulent abscesses and treat various skin inflammations.
An aqueous fig solution helps break up and remove kidney stones, and it also relieves pain when urinating. The solution is prepared as follows: 3-5 fig fruits are poured over 200 ml of boiling water, boiled for 5 minutes. over low heat, and grind. Take the remedy all day, between meals.

To avoid harm, nutritionists recommend figs to be eaten exclusively during the daytime, until 18.00.
In addition, dried figs are considered a dietary product, because they contain fiber, intestinal cleansing and omega fatty acids that help fight “bad” cholesterol, stimulating brain activity. When choosing dried figs, you should pay attention to the whole, even fruits of light color, which did not shrink or deform during drying.
Harm of figs, contraindications to its use
Figs have no serious contraindications; in the absence of individual sensitivity, it can be consumed for a long time, which is required, for example, in the treatment of lingering coughs with figs, anemia, and chronic bronchitis.
Due to the oxalic acid it contains, the fruit is contraindicated for gout.
With diabetes, given the high sugar and calorie content, figs should not be consumed.
