Tuberosity
Tuberositas (tuberositas) - the area to which ligaments, tendons and muscles are attached, which is an eminence with a rough surface on the bone.
Allocate:
- Tibial tuberosity (t. Tibiae) - the area to which the patella ligaments are attached; located on the front of the surface of the upper (proximal) epiphysis of the tibia;
- Deltoid tuberosity (t. Deltoidea) - the area of attachment of the deltoid muscle; located in the middle lobe of the lateral (lateral) surface of the humerus;
- Chewing tuberosity (t. Masseterica) - the area of fixation of the chewing muscle; located on the outer surface of the corner and branch of the lower jaw;
- The sacral tuberosity (t. Sacralis) is an area located on the lateral parts of the sacrum, to which muscles and ligaments are attached;
- Pterygoid tuberosity (t. Pterygoidea) - the area of attachment of the medial pterygoid muscle; located on the inner surface of the lower jaw branch near its corner;
- The tuberosity of the scaphoid (t. Ossis navicularis) is an area in the medial (middle) section of the distal surface of the bone of the same name, to which the tendon of the posterior tibial muscle is attached;
- Tuberosity of the ulna (t. Ulnae) - the area of attachment of the shoulder muscle; located at the proximal (located closer to the body axis) end of the ulna below and in front of its coronoid process;
- The tuberosity of the radius (t. Radii) - the area of attachment of the tendon of the biceps brachii; placed on the radius, medial and below its neck;
- Tuberosity of the I metatarsal bone (t. Ossis metatarsalis I) - the area of fixation of the anterior tibial muscle; located on the medial-plantar area of the surface of the base of the I metatarsal bone;
- Tuberosity of the V metatarsal bone (t. Ossis metatarsalis V) is the area to which the tendons of the short peroneal muscle are attached; placed on the lateral surface of the base of the V metatarsal bone;
- Iliac tuberosity (t. Iliaca) - the area of fixation of the interosseous sacroiliac ligaments; located on the ilium behind and above the site of the ear-shaped articular surface;
- The gluteal tuberosity (t. Glutea) is the area to which the gluteus maximus muscle is attached; represents the upper lobe of the lateral lip of the rough line, located in the upper part of the posterior part of the surface of the femur.
