Elcar (international name - Levocarnitine) is a vitamin that participates in metabolism, normalizes gastric secretion and has a lipolytic effect. Elkar was widely used in sports medicine and pediatrics.

Composition and form of release of Elkar
The main active ingredient is levocarnitine 300 mg.

The solution can be diluted with a little water. With anorexia at a severe stage of the course, Elkar should be taken 1-1.5 g 2 times a day. The course of treatment lasts 30-60 days.
As part of complex therapy for the treatment of gastritis and pancreatitis, Elkar is prescribed one-fourth spoon 2-3 times a day, and for the treatment of skin diseases - half a spoon 2 times a day.
According to the instructions, Elkar is prescribed 50-100 mg 2 times a day to replenish carnitine. The course of treatment is 2-4 months.

Contraindications

Side effects of Elkar
Elcar can cause gastralgia, dyspepsia, flatulence, diarrhea, vomiting, myasthenia gravis, dizziness.
