Release form and composition

Humer is available as a topical spray:

  • Humer 150 adult nasal spray;
  • Humer 150 nasal spray for babies and children.

The drug is sterile natural seawater: undiluted, isotonic, filtered (150 ml vials, 1 vial in a cardboard box).

1 bottle contains 150 ml of seawater taken off the coast of Brittany, all trace elements of which fully comply with the physiological norms of the body.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

According to the instructions, Humer is a drug designed to cleanse the nasal cavity. Thanks to the diffuser system, which the bottle is equipped with, there is a complete irrigation of the nasal mucosa. The properties of the components of seawater cause gentle nasal lavage, diluting the secretion of the mucous membrane and promoting its excretion.

Indications for use

  • daily hygiene of the nasal cavity;
  • cleansing the mucous membrane from air pollution products (including dust, various allergens);
  • treatment and prevention of acute respiratory viral infections and other diseases in otorhinolaryngology (as part of complex therapy);
  • moisturizing the nasal mucosa with increased dryness of the environment.

Contraindications

Humer 150 nasal spray for adults is not recommended for children and adolescents under 15 years of age.

Humer 150 for infants and children, nasal spray is contraindicated for use in newborns of the first month of life.

The spray should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to its components.

Instructions for the use of Humer: method and dosage

The spray is applied intranasally, before meals.

The bottle for adults (persons over 15 years old) is equipped with a nozzle adapted to the anatomical structure of the adult nose.

For the procedure, adults are recommended to tilt their head to the left, insert the tip of the bottle into the right nostril and spray seawater by pressing the valve for 2-3 seconds. Tilting your head to the right, spray the drug into the cavity of the left nasal passage. Then, for a complete cleansing of the nose, you must blow your nose well.

The tip of the nozzle at the Humer for children has a special safety collar, which makes it easier and safer to use the drug. Before carrying out the procedure, you must install the tip on the bottle.

For the procedure, the child should be placed on the left side, carefully insert the tip into the right nostril up to the level of the safety collar, and inject liquid for 2-3 seconds. Then, turn it to the right side, irrigate the cavity of the left nasal opening. After the procedure, the child's head should be in an upright position so that liquid can flow freely from the nose. To remove it, use sanitary napkins.

For children who can sit or stand on their own, the most comfortable position for the procedure is selected individually. After each use, the tip is rinsed with warm water and stored in the container with the bottle.

Rinsing the nose should be repeated 2-3 times a day.
