Release form and composition
Dosage form - homeopathic ointment for external use: uniform consistency, from yellow-orange to yellow, has a characteristic odor (30 g each in aluminum tubes; in a cardboard box 1 tube).
Active substances in the composition of 100 g of ointment:
- vaseline extract from a mixture of the following fresh plants: calendula officinalis, yarrow (Achillea millefolium) St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), in a ratio of 2/1/1 - 97 g;
- lumbago (Pulsatilla), matrix tincture (MT) - 1.5 g;
- Marsh rosemary ((Ledum palustre), matrix tincture (MT) - 1.5 g.
Auxiliary ingredients: petroleum jelly - up to 100 g.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Cycaderma is one of the multicomponent homeopathic medicines. The ointment has a beneficial effect on tissues at all stages of skin regeneration and heals wounds perfectly.
The effect of the drug is due to the properties of its constituent components:
- calendula officinalis (Calendula officinalis): has an antiseptic and wound-healing effect, accelerates the epithelialization process and gives elasticity to scars;
- St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum): has anti-inflammatory and analgesic efficacy, relieves pain resulting from damage to nerve endings;
- yarrow (Achillea millefolium): due to the hemostatic effect, reduces capillary bleeding;
- marsh rosemary (Ledum palustre): soothes, relieves pain, tingling and itching;
- lumbago (Pulsatilla): has antimicrobial and antimycotic effects;
- petroleum jelly base: in the treatment of burns, protects the skin from dryness.
All these properties are most effectively manifested due to the unique method of making the ointment.
Indications for use
- burns of I – II degree;
- insect bites;
- small cracks, cuts, abrasions and other superficial wounds.
Contraindications
Absolute:
- application to open / infected wounds, mucous membranes;
- weeping dermatitis;
- age up to 1 year;
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Relative (Tsikaderma is prescribed under medical supervision): pregnancy, lactation.
Instructions for use of Tsikaderm: method and dosage
Cicaderm ointment is intended for external use. It is applied 1-2 times a day on a pre-treated surface. A bandage can be applied if necessary.
The duration of the course is up to 7 days.
