Proctosan is a drug with local anesthetic, drying, astringent and anti-inflammatory action for local use in proctology.

Release form and composition

  • Rectal suppositories: light yellow-green color (5 pcs. In polyvinyl chloride blister strip packs, 2 packs in a cardboard box);
  • Ointment for rectal and external use: yellow (20 g each in aluminum tubes with a screw-on polypropylene cap, in a cardboard box 1 tube and an applicator).

Active ingredients in 1 suppository:

  • Bufeksamak - 0.25 g;
  • Titanium dioxide - 0.1 g;
  • Bismuth subgallate - 0.1 g;
  • Lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate - 0.01 g

Suppository excipient: solid fat.

Active substances in the composition of 1 g of Proctosan ointment:

  • Bufeksamak - 0.05 g;
