Release form and composition
Dosage form of Grammidin neo-resorption tablets: white, biconvex, round, with the GR inscription on one side (in blisters of 6 pcs., In a carton box of 2-4 blisters; in blisters of 9 pcs., In a carton box of 2 blisters).
Active ingredients in 1 tablet:
- cetylpyridinium chloride - 1 mg (cetylpyridinium chloride monohydrate - 1.05 mg);
- gramicidin C - 3 mg (gramicidin C dihydrochloride - 3.2 mg).
Additional components: mint flavor - 25 mg; colloidal silicon dioxide - 5 mg; acesulfame potassium -15 mg; talc - 60 mg; sorbitol - 1065.75 mg; magnesium stearate - 25 mg.

Grammidin neo is one of the combined drugs used for the treatment of diseases of the throat and oral cavity of an infectious and inflammatory nature.
Its action is due to the properties of the incoming components:
- gramicidin C is an antimicrobial agent that is active against causative agents of infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx; increases the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell, which leads to a violation of its stability and cell death;
- cetylpyridinium chloride - antiseptic; helps to suppress the growth and reproduction of pathogens of infectious diseases localized in the oral cavity.
The main effects of Grammidin neo:
- reduction of inflammation, easier swallowing;
- development of hypersalivation, which contributes to mechanical cleansing of microorganisms from the oral cavity and pharynx;
- relief of discomfort in the throat.
Pharmacokinetics
Grammidin neo has a local effect. In the gastrointestinal tract, it is practically not absorbed, and therefore the likelihood of developing systemic effects is minimal.

Grammidin neo should be taken orally by dissolving in the mouth, preferably after meals. Do not chew the tablets. Immediately after application, it is recommended to refrain from eating and drinking for 1–2 hours.
Single dose - 1 tablet. Children 4-12 years old Grammidin neo can be taken 1-2 times a day, children from 12 years old and adults - 3-4 times a day.
