Bulgarian diet
There are two versions of the "Bulgarian diet" - for four days (diet of Petr Dimkov) and for seven. Each of the options has its own pros and cons.
For those who need to quickly get rid of 3-4 kg of excess weight, the diet of Peter Dimkov, designed for four days, is suitable. The first three days are unloading, the fourth vegetable. The author of the diet claims that the result of his diet, in addition to weight loss, is the detoxification of the body. To enhance the cleansing effect, you need to do the following:
- Drink 6 tbsp every day. l. hot water immediately after waking up and before going to bed.
- Some time after drinking hot water, take a shower or at least wipe yourself off with a towel, as sweating increases.
The seven-day version of the "Bulgarian Diet" is a low-calorie diet based on fruits, vegetables and lean meats.
Whichever version of the "Bulgarian diet" is chosen, one must remember about the drinking regime: drink at least 2 liters of water every day.
It is important to get out of the "Bulgarian diet" correctly, otherwise the lost pounds will quickly return. After it, for a while, you should abandon foods containing fats and simple carbohydrates. In order to maintain the result, in the future it is advisable to use mainly vegetable and fermented milk food with the addition of lean meats and fish.
If necessary, you can combine both types of "Bulgarian diet": a four-day option as a preparation, then a seven-day one.
Advantages of the "Bulgarian diet"
For four days of the diet of Petr Dimkov, you can lose 3-4 kg of excess weight. For a week of the usual "Bulgarian diet" - from 4-5 kg.
The advantages of the "Bulgarian diet" are its simplicity, ease of compliance and low cost of products. The abundance of plant foods allows you to get rid of stagnant phenomena in the intestines and saturate the body with useful substances.
The 7-day Bulgarian Diet can kick-start new, healthier eating habits if you follow the same post-diet dietary guidelines.
Disadvantages and contraindications of the "Bulgarian diet"
A severely restricted diet, especially the four-day "Bulgarian Diet", can cause weakness, lethargy, decreased performance, and irritability. It takes a lot of willpower and self-discipline to keep up with it.
A sharp transition to the usual menu after completing any diet option is guaranteed to lead to a quick return of weight, so you cannot neglect the correct exit from it.
The "Bulgarian diet" is contraindicated for people with diseases of the digestive tract, as well as those weakened after illness, for children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women.
You should not practice the "Bulgarian diet" for those who need to get rid of 10 kg or more - for this purpose it is worth choosing something less extreme.

Allowed foods of Petr Dimkov's four-day diet:
- carrot;
- potatoes;
- apples of green varieties;
- lemon juice;
- honey;
- bread.
The diet of the "Bulgarian diet" for seven days includes:
- lean meats, poultry and fish;
- eggs;
- whole wheat bread;
- vegetables and fruits;
- green tea, rosehip broth.
What foods are prohibited?
It is forbidden to use any products other than those permitted, in particular, salt and sugar are excluded.

Petr Dimkov's diet menu for four days (the specified foods are distributed in any amount over five to six meals throughout the day):
