Cerebrolysin is a hydrolysis product of the pig's brain substance. The drug contains neuropeptides with low molecular weight (15%) and about 18 biologically active amino acids (85%).

Mode of application

With ischemic stroke, complications of neurosurgical operations, traumatic brain injury, 10 to 50 ml of the drug are prescribed daily.
With cerebral stroke in the acute period, as well as with traumatic injury to the spinal cord and brain, it is recommended to inject from 5 to 50 ml of Cerebrolysin daily.
With psychoorganic syndrome and depression, from 5 to 30 ml of medication are prescribed daily.
The standard daily dose of the drug in neuropediatric practice is 0.1-0.2 ml / kg of body weight.
In Alzheimer's disease, dementia of combined and vascular genesis, 5 to 30 ml of Cerebrolysin are prescribed.
