Tizol is an external anti-inflammatory agent.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - gel for local and external use: thick, non-flowing, opaque, white with a grayish tint, a mass with a weak specific odor (100 g each in dark glass jars, 10 g each in glass, dark glass, plastic jars or aluminum tubes; in a cardboard box 1 can or 1 tube).

Active ingredient: titanium glycerophosphate aquacomplex, in 1 package - 100%.

Indications for use

  • dermatitis, neurodermatitis, scleroderma, seborrheic eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus;
  • arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, tendovaginitis;
  • radiation sickness (as a local radioprotector).

Contraindications

Method of administration and dosage

Tizol is intended for local and external use.

The gel should be applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the mucous membranes and skin 1-3 times a day.

The duration of treatment is determined individually, depending on the type and severity of the course of the disease, localization and severity of the inflammatory process.

Improvement is usually noted within a week of therapy. If necessary, treatment can be extended up to 2-3 months or repeated courses can be prescribed.

When Tizol is prescribed as a radioprotector, the gel should be applied in a thin layer to the irradiated area before the session and 12 hours after its end. After applying the drug, it is not necessary to apply occlusive dressings, contact with clothing should be excluded.
