Tetravit is a combined preparation for replenishing the lack of vitamins in the body of animals.
Composition and form of release
Tetravit is available in the form of a clear, oily, light yellow solution for injection. 1 ml of solution contains the following vitamins: F (5 mg), E (20 mg), D3 (25,000 IU), A (50,000 IU).
In hermetically sealed vials of 20, 50 or 100 ml.
Pharmacological action of Tetravit
According to the instructions, Tetravit compensates for the deficiency of vitamins in the body of animals.
Vitamin A contained in the preparation regulates the functions, regeneration and structure of epithelial tissues, reducing the body's susceptibility to infections. The use of vitamin A in higher dosages enhances metabolism and prevents weight loss.
Tocopherol acetate affects carbohydrate and fat metabolism, regulates redox reactions, enhances the effect of other vitamins that make up the drug.
Vitamin D3 normalizes the metabolism of phosphorus and calcium, affects their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, and also has an anti-rachitis effect.
According to reviews, the use of Tetravit quickly replenishes the deficiency of vitamins in the blood, accumulates them in the tissues.
In the recommended dosages, Tetravit is well tolerated by animals, does not have an embryotoxic, local irritating, sensitizing, teratogenic and mutagenic effect.
