Dibazol-UBF is a vasodilating agent used in the combined treatment of hypertension.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - tablets: white or white with a slightly yellowish or grayish tinge, flat-cylindrical, with a risk and a chamfer (in polymer cans of 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 tablets or in contour cell / non-cell packs of 10 tablets).
Composition of 1 tablet:
- active substance: dibazol (bendazole) - 20 mg;
- auxiliary components: polyvinylpyrrolidone, milk sugar, potato starch, calcium stearate, talc.

Pharmacodynamics
Dibazol has hypotensive, vasodilatory and antispasmodic effects, has a stimulating effect on the function of the spinal cord, helps to restore the functions of peripheral nerves. Also, the drug has a moderate immunomodulatory activity.
Indications for use
According to the instructions for use, Dibazol-UBF is prescribed for arterial hypertension as an adjunct as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications
Absolute:
- diseases occurring with increased muscle tone (convulsive syndrome);
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
According to the indications, Dibazol-UBF is prescribed with caution to elderly patients, which is associated with a decrease in cardiac output.

Dibazol-UBF tablets are taken orally, observing a 2-hour interval with meals (before or after meals).
The recommended dosage regimen: 2-3 times a day, 20-50 mg. Duration of use - 3-4 weeks, shorter courses are possible.
Side effects
Most often, Dibazol-UBF tablets are well tolerated.
When using the drug in high doses, it is possible to develop undesirable phenomena in the form of sweating, a feeling of heat, dizziness, headache, nausea, and allergic reactions.
After dose reduction / discontinuation of the drug, these disorders quickly disappear.

Drug interactions
- antihypertensive agents of other pharmacotherapeutic groups, diuretics: there is an increase in the hypotensive effect of bendazole;
- β-blockers: bendazole prevents an increase in total peripheral vascular resistance caused by the use of β-blockers;
- phentolamine: against the background of combined use, the hypotensive effect of bendazole is enhanced.
