Chest collection is a herbal preparation with expectorant, anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator effects for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory system.

Release form and composition

Dosage forms Breast collection:

• crushed or medicinal collection: a mixture of inhomogeneous particles of plant materials of yellowish-green color interspersed with grayish-brown, dark green, reddish-brown, yellow-orange, creamy-white, grayish-green, bluish-purple and / or yellowish-gray passing through a sieve with apertures of 7 mm (25, 35, 50, 75 and 100 g each in paper or polypropylene bags, 1 bag in a cardboard box);
• collection powder: a mixture of inhomogeneous particles of plant raw materials, whitish-green interspersed with brownish-yellow and brownish-green, passing through a sieve with a hole size of 2 mm (1.5 or 2 g each in filter bags, in a package of 10 or 20 packages).

Breast collection No. 1 contains a mixture of crushed medicinal plant materials:

• marshmallow roots - 40%;
• leaves of coltsfoot - 40%;
• oregano herb - 20%.

Breast collection No. 2 contains a mixture of crushed medicinal plant materials:

• leaves of coltsfoot - 40%;
• plantain leaves - 30%;
• licorice roots - 30%.

Breast collection No. 3 contains a mixture of crushed medicinal plant materials:

• sage leaves - 14.4%;

Indications for use

Chest preparations are used for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficult sputum discharge (including bronchitis and tracheitis).

Contraindications

• children under 12 years old;
• pregnancy;
• lactation;
• hypersensitivity to components.

Method of administration and dosage

Chest preparations are taken orally after meals in the form of an infusion.

Preparation of the infusion: Place 4 g of raw materials (1 tbsp. L.) In an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of cold water (1 glass), heat in a water bath for 15 minutes, insist at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze out the remaining raw materials and bring the infusion to a volume of 200 ml with boiled water. Take hot ½ cup 3-4 times a day.

From filter bags, the infusion is prepared as follows: place 2 bags in an enamel or glass dish, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes. Take ½ glass 3 times a day.

The prepared infusion must be shaken before taking.

Duration of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Preparation of infusion: Place 10 g of raw materials (2 tbsp. L.) In an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of boiling water, heat in a water bath for 15 minutes, insist at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze out the remaining raw materials and bring the infusion to a volume of 200 ml of boiled water. Take 3 times a day: the collection №3 - ½ cup collection №4 - for ¹ / ₃ cup.

From filter bags, the infusion is prepared as follows: place 1 packet in an enamel or glass dish, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 15 minutes. Take ½-1 glass 3 times a day.

The prepared infusion must be shaken before taking.

Duration of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Drug interactions

Chest collection should not be used in conjunction with antitussives and sputum-reducing drugs, as they make it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.
