Release form and composition
Dosage form - solution for oral administration, external and local use: transparent yellow liquid of varying degrees of intensity, let’s say a greenish tint (in a cardboard box 4 or 10 bottles of 10 or 20 ml each and instructions for use of polyvalent purified Pyobacteriophage).
Composition of 1 ml solution:
- active substance: a mixture of sterile filtrates of phagolysates of streptococci, staphylococci, klebsiella (oxytoca and pneumonia), proteus, enterococci, colibacillus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa - 1 ml;
- auxiliary component (preservative): quinosole - 0.1 mg / ml (calculated content).

Indications for use
Polyvalent purified pyobacteriophage is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of various forms of enteral and purulent-inflammatory diseases caused by bacteria Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus, Proteus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, such as:
- diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including intestinal dysbiosis, cholecystitis, gastroenterocolitis, pancreatitis;
- purulent inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs, oral cavity, sinuses of the nose, larynx, pharynx, pleura and lungs, including otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, periodontitis, stomatitis, frontal sinusitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, pleurisy;
- inflammatory diseases of newborns and young children, including intestinal dysbiosis, gastroenterocolitis, omphalitis, pyoderma, pemphigus, septicemia and septicopyemia of various localization;
- diseases of the organ of vision, including keratoconjunctivitis, post-traumatic conjunctivitis, iridocyclitis, purulent corneal ulcers;
- urogenital infections, including pyelonephritis, cystitis, vulvitis, endometritis, colpitis, bartholinitis, salpingo-oophoritis;
- surgical infections, including wound suppuration, burns, purulent skin lesions, peritonitis, mastitis, pleurisy, osteomyelitis;
- nosocomial infections caused by bacteria Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae (prevention).

Methods of application of polyvalent purified pyobacteriophage: orally, in the form of irrigation, enemas, applications, introduction into the cavities of the sinuses of the nose, nose, vagina, uterus, wounds, as well as into the drained cavities (pleural, abdominal, abscess cavities, renal pelvis, bladder).
Inside, the solution should be taken on an empty stomach 30-60 minutes before meals.
Recommended dosing regimen, depending on age (oral / enema):
- up to 6 months: 5/10 ml;
- 6-12 months: 10/20 ml;
- 1-3 years: 15 / 20-30 ml;
- 3-8 years: 20 / 30-40 ml;
- from 8 years old: 20-30 / 40-50 ml.
When treating pyoinflammatory diseases with localized lesions, polyvalent purified pyobacteriophage should be applied simultaneously orally and topically.
If chemical antiseptics are used to treat the cavity of a purulent focus, before using the pyobacteriophage, it must be washed with a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution.
Method of application of polyvalent purified Pyobacteriophage for other indications:
- bronchitis, pneumonia: orally - 3 times a day, 10–20 ml; in the form of inhalations and aerosols (without the use of ultrasound and heating), duration of use - 15–20 days;
- angina, pharyngitis, laryngitis: rinsing the mouth and pharynx - 3 times a day, 10–20 ml, duration of use - 7–10 days;
- inflammation of the sinuses: rinsing the nasal cavity, sinuses of the nose and nasopharynx - 5–10 ml each, injection into the sinuses - 2-3 ml each. The procedure is carried out once a day every day for 7-10 days. Additionally, the introduction of the solution into the nasal cavity in the form of turunda moistened with bacteriophage is shown in turn in each nasal passage, the turunda is left for 30-60 minutes. The procedure is carried out 3 times a day, the duration of use is 7-15 days;
- otitis media: washing and injecting into the middle ear cavity - 1–3 times a day, 2–5 ml; duration of use - 7-15 days;
- conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivitis: 4-5 times a day, 2-3 drops, duration of use - 5-7 days;
- stomatitis and chronic periodontitis: rinsing the mouth 3-4 times a day, 10-20 ml, injecting turunda soaked in bacteriophage into the periodontal pockets for 5-10 minutes for 7-10 days;
- purulent iridocyclitis: every 3 hours, 6–8 drops in combination with oral administration of pyobacteriophage in therapeutic doses for 7–10 days;
- purulent corneal ulcer: 4–5 drops a day for 7–10 days;
- peritonitis and pleurisy: the introduction of the solution through drainage tubes into the drained abdominal and pleural cavities is shown every day, once a day, 20–70 ml, duration of use - 10–15 days;
- abscess after opening and removal of purulent contents: the introduction of a solution with a volume less than the amount of removed pus is shown, once a day, the duration of use is 7-10 days;
- mastitis, suppuration of burns and wounds: irrigation, applications, dressings, introduction of 5–50 ml into the drainage (depending on the lesion focus) at least once a day, duration of use - 10–15 days;
- osteomyelitis: administration of the solution through drains and turundas into the wound cavity is shown, daily 1 time per day, 10-30 ml, duration of application - 15-20 days;
- cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis: orally at a therapeutic dose 3 times a day 60 minutes before meals, the duration of use is 10–20 days. If the cavity of the renal pelvis or bladder is drained, the solution can be injected through the nephrostomy or cystostomy 1-3 times a day, 5-7 or 20-50 ml into the renal pelvis or bladder, respectively, the duration of use is 7-15 days;
- purulent-inflammatory gynecological diseases (suppuration of wounds, endometritis, vulvitis, bartholinitis, colpitis, salpingo-oophoritis): irrigation, applications, introduction into the uterine cavity, vagina, wounds - 1 time per day, 5–20 ml, duration of use - 7–10 days;
- gastroenterocolitis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, intestinal dysbiosis: orally 60 minutes before meals 3 times a day in age doses, duration of use - 7-15 days (according to clinical indications). In case of intestinal dysbiosis, piobacteriophage can be used simultaneously with normal flora preparations;
- indomitable vomiting: in the form of high enemas 2-3 times a day, 20-40 ml.
In order to prevent nosocomial surgical infections, polyvalent purified pyobacteriophage is used to treat freshly infected and postoperative wounds. The dose is determined by the lesion and ranges from 5 to 50 ml. The drug is used once a day every day for 5-7 days.
Use in children under 1 year of age (including premature babies):
- omphalitis, pyoderma, infected wounds: in the form of applications (a gauze napkin moistened with a bacteriophage is applied to the affected skin area or umbilical wound) 2-3 times a day, 5-10 ml, duration of application 7-15 days;
- gastroenterocolitis, pneumonia and sepsis of newborns: orally 30 minutes before feeding 2-3 times a day, 3-5 ml. In case of indomitable vomiting, the solution can be administered in the form of high enemas (through a catheter or gas tube) daily 1 time per day, 5-10 ml. The combined use of the drug by the oral and rectal route is possible. Duration of use - 7-15 days (determined by indications). In the case of a recurrent course of the disease, the pyobacteriophage can be used by a repeated course;
- prevention of the development of nosocomial infection in newborns: oral administration is shown 30 minutes before feeding according to epidemic indications 3 times a day, 3-5 ml during the entire period of the child's stay in the hospital.

Before opening the package, you must thoroughly wash your hands, treat the cap of the bottle with an alcohol-containing solution, then remove it without opening the cap. Do not put the cork on the table or other objects with the inner surface, leave the bottle open. Once opened, the bottle can only be stored in the refrigerator.
