Autoallergen
Autoallergen (Greek autos - itself, own, the same + Greek allos - different, different + ergon - action + Greek -genes - generating; synonyms: endoallergen, endogenous allergen) - an allergen that is formed in the body itself; is the basis for the occurrence of autoallergic diseases.
Allocate:
- Natural autoallergen (synonym: primary autoallergen) - is a component of the tissue of some organs (testicle, lens, nervous tissue, thyroid gland), towards which there is no immunological tolerance in the body;
- Infectious autoallergen - an acquired autoallergen that was formed under the influence of an infectious agent;
- Complex autoallergen - infectious autoallergen; it contains components of the causative agent of infection or its toxin, as well as components of damaged tissue;
- Acquired non-infectious autoallergen - formed under the influence of any factors of a non-infectious nature, for example, with burns, hypoxia, the use of drugs;
- Acquired autoallergen (synonym: secondary autoallergen) - is formed when tissue is damaged;
- Intermediate autoallergen (synonym: virus-induced autoallergen) is an infectious autoallergen, formed in the cells of the body under the influence of a virus that is the causative agent of infection; in its antigenic properties it differs both from cells and from a virus.
