Anuria
Anuria (anuria; an- - negative part + Greek uron - urine; synonym: anuresis) - non-entry of urine into the bladder.
Types of anuria:
- Arenal (arenalis) - due to the absence of kidneys, for example, with their aplasia;
- Intoxication (ex intoxicatione) - prerenal or renal anuria associated with severe intoxication;
- Calculous (calculosa) - due to obturation of the ureters with calculi;
- Obturation (obturatoria) - subrenal anuria associated with obstruction of the ureters;
- Prerenal (praerenalis; synonyms: extrarenal anuria, extrarenal anuria) - anuria associated with insufficient blood flow to the kidneys (due to shock, heart failure) or its complete cessation (due to thrombosis of the aorta, inferior vena cava, renal veins or arteries), and also developed as a result of hypohydration (due to blood loss, profuse diarrhea, indomitable vomiting);
- Renal (renalis; synonyms: renal anuria, secretory anuria) - is caused by damage or diseases of the kidneys with significant damage to the renal parenchyma;
- Reflex (reflectoria) - prerenal anuria, which develops due to reflex circulatory disorders in the kidneys;
- Reflex-peripheral - reflex anuria, which has arisen due to the effect on healthy kidneys of stimuli from various body systems (for example, when the urethra is bugged);
- Reflex-renal - reflex anuria, resulting from the impact of the affected kidney on a healthy one;
- Subrenal (subrenalis; synonyms: postrenal anuria, excretory anuria) - is caused by a violation of the outflow of urine due to compression or obstruction of the upper urinary tract;
- Traumatic (traumatica) - prerenal anuria, which developed as a manifestation of traumatic toxicosis (prolonged crush syndrome);
- Transient (transitoria) - transient anuria caused by temporary impairment of blood circulation, patency of the ureters or acid-base and water-electrolyte balance.
