Curd diet
As the name implies, the main product in this diet is cottage cheese. Its beneficial properties are known to everyone. It contains many vitamins, amino acids and, of course, calcium, which is essential for bones. The curd contains casein - a milk protein with a high nutritional value. Cottage cheese helps to remove excess fluid from the body, cleanse the liver of toxins. It is recommended for people suffering from osteoporosis, diseases of the cardiovascular and digestive systems.
There are several options for the curd diet, the most famous are the curd mono-diet, curd-kefir diet, as well as a diet based on cottage cheese and food bran.
Before starting a cottage cheese diet, it is advisable to spend a fasting day, excluding fatty and meat products, alcoholic beverages from the diet. The menu should contain only low-calorie vegetable and dairy foods.
Advantages of the curd diet
For a day, a curd diet takes about 0.5 kg of excess weight.
Cottage cheese saturates the body with protein, this is an excellent product for those who go in for sports, and for everyone who cares about their health. The diet helps to strengthen bones, hair and nails, maintain muscle mass, and normalize the intestinal microflora. It is important that the cottage cheese is satisfying, so the diet is not accompanied by hunger pangs, which means there is less risk of breakdown.
Disadvantages and contraindications of the curd diet
The curd diet is unbalanced, so it is not recommended to stick to it for more than three to four days.
The diet is not recommended for people with endocrine disorders, pathology of the gastrointestinal tract or kidneys.
What foods are allowed?
During the curd mono-diet, you can eat only fresh high-quality curd, the amount of which is not limited.
List of products for the curd-bran diet:
- cottage cheese;
- food bran (they should be steamed with hot water for 20-30 minutes before use, then drain the liquid);
- honey;
- fruits, berries;
- vegetables.
In the diet of the curd-kefir diet - only cottage cheese and kefir.
Plus, with any version of the curd diet, you can use green tea, rosehip broth and still water. It is allowed to drink a cup of black coffee once a day.
What foods are prohibited?
All products not on the permitted list are prohibited, in particular salt and sugar.
Curd diet menu
A daily menu of three options for a curd diet:
Curd mono-diet | Every three hours (five times a day) eat 200 g of cottage cheese. |
Cottage cheese and bran diet | Four times a day, eat 100 g of cottage cheese and 1-2 tsp. food bran. You can add a little honey to the cottage cheese, supplement each meal with fresh vegetables (fruits, berries). |
Curd-kefir diet | Five times a day, eat 120 g of cottage cheese and drink 200 ml of kefir. |
Useful Tips
Advice 1. During the diet, you need to eat only very fresh cottage cheese (the first three days after production) of high quality and any fat content.
Advice 2. If desired, kefir in a curd-kefir diet can be replaced with milk, natural yogurt without additives or any other fermented milk drink (fermented baked milk, acidophilus, etc.).
