Stomatofit A is a herbal anti-inflammatory agent.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - extract for topical use (liquid): a viscous, opaque liquid of dark brown color with a characteristic odor, which may form a slight precipitate during storage (25 g each in orange glass vials, sealed with polyethylene caps with first opening control, in a cardboard pack 1 bottle and instructions for use of Stomatofit A).

The composition of the drug in 1 bottle:

  • active ingredients: extract * liquid from a mixture of plant materials - 12.5 g [extractant - ethanol 70% (0.65: 1)], benzocaine - 0.5 g;
  • auxiliary components: glycerol (glycerin), hyetellose, ethanol 96%, purified water.

Stomatofit A is a drug with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and fungicidal action, which is due to the properties of plant components.

Extracts of flowers of chamomile, sage and oak bark effectively eliminate inflammation, soften the oral mucosa, and accelerate regeneration.

Tanning compounds help the immune system fight off the yeast Candida albicans, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Benzocaine, which is part of the extract, has a local anesthetic effect.

The thickeners contained in the preparation keep it in the affected area, thereby providing a longer lasting effect.

Indications for use

  • inflammatory lesions of the oral cavity: periodontitis, gingivitis, stomatitis;

The extract is applied to the affected areas of the oral cavity using a cotton swab.

If the doctor has not prescribed a different dosage regimen, the recommended frequency of applications is 3 times a day.

For some time after applying the drug, you do not need to rinse your mouth, you must refrain from eating and drinking water.
